Annie Cochran

Jewelry & Pottery Handcrafted by the Sea

My name is Annie Cochran, and I'm the artisan, owner, designer and creator of C-Breeze Treasures. Since I was a little girl, I've always loved creating and crafting. I remember spending hours, by myself or with close family members, coloring and drawing! Crayons and coloring books were my most favorite asked for gifts!

As I grew older, the creativity became stronger and continued to grow. From handmade Christmas cards and ornaments to knitting scarves, I did it all.  Now, my passion is handcrafted jewelry. I believe my creative gene was passed onto me by my Mom. Growing up, I remember her doing ceramics and crafting of all sorts for gift giving and selling. She passed away when I was 12, but my Mom is still my inspiration to this day.

Being surrounded by the beautiful ocean and the many gorgeous beaches is where my creations are inspired. These "treasures" are authentic, fresh, and are mostly one-of-a-kind. Most important, they are all handmade by me! When crafting, I take pride in each treasure as if creating it for myself. The joy of seeing the finished piece is then passed on to you as the "new owner!"

Jaida Narkon

New England Based Artwork and Home Decor

Raised on Cape Cod, I currently reside in the beautiful seaside town of Harwich, Massachusetts. After acquiring an undergraduate degree in Fashion Merchandising and a Master’s degree in Media and Innovation, I returned home in 2018 and have been using the skills gained in school to create a brand that is uniquely me and inspired by my time on the Cape.

My aim was to create something that encompassed my love for fashion, colors and design. I started with drawing on paper, then moving to drawing on an iPad Pro, to finally creating digital designs. From there, J.ALEXIS DESIGNS was formed. Combining design, decor and art, I’ve printed these digital illustrations on everything from pouches and wallets, to wall banners and stickers.

Thank you in advance for your support, and I appreciate your effort to #SHOPLOCAL

As digital photography replaced film, she focused on fine art and aerial photography.

She lives on the Cape and travels to Vail, CO and Punta de Mita, Mexico in the cooler months for a variety of photo opportunities. Marcia is the host of the popular Cape Cod Photo A Day (FB) where the mantra is, ‘Making the World a Kinder Place Starting with a Photo A Day!’

Maggie Covell/Blue Chick Jewelry

Handcrafted Jewelry

I love stones and always have. Growing up, I collected all sorts – smooth, tumbled stones from the local Five & Dime, black and white beach rocks that wash up on Nauset Beach, river stones, silver flaky mica found in the hills of Maine... I'm inspired by different shapes, shades, textures, and facets. My designs are inspired by the simplest things – what I call the “minutiae of everyday life” – the changing light on the marsh throughout the day and into the evening, the ever-shifting colors of the ocean, the spring-to-fall garden blooms. Sometimes, it’s merely a feeling that sparks a design concept. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and hand made. The materials are top quality and include precious and semi-precious gemstones, pearls, shell, wood, leather and suede, silk cord, sterling and Thai Hill Tribes silver, gold, and 14kt gold fill. I seek out stones that are unique in shape or cut and especially enjoy using uncommon or rare stones including Tanzanite, a violet blue stone found only in Tanzania, Africa, blue and white Larimar (the Caribbean Stone) found only in the Dominican Republic, Imperial teal kyanite, rich purple and black Russian Charoite, and vivid green Chrome Diopside. It is truly a joy for me to create pieces I can imagine someone wearing for a special event, giving to a loved one, or just enjoying it as that piece that “goes perfect with jeans.”

Meredith Keough

Beach Inspired Collage

Art and the beach have always been a part of my life.  I grew up spending my summers on Cape Cod and continue to vacation there with my husband and children.  There’s no place like the Cape!  Walking barefoot along the soft golden sand, breathing the refreshing salt air, and listening to the soothing meditative sounds of the ocean waves, takes me to another place - a peaceful calm state of mind.  It is the source of inspiration for my art.  Like being at the beach, when I create my art, I also get lost in another place.  I am able to be fully present, in the moment and can tune everything out.  Art and the beach - my happy places!

I began my art career teaching art at an elementary school.  I love watching young artists create their own masterpieces.  They are filled with excitement and enthusiasm that fuels my own creativity.  One of my first teaching lessons was based on the art of Eric Carle.  I was in awe of the painted papers they created for the project - full of vibrant color.  Years later, as I was pursuing my Masters Degree, I enrolled in a collage class.  One of my projects was a large scallop shell on canvas made from leftover scraps of my students’ painted papers along with some of my own.  It was this project that led me to create my beach themed collages.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
