I have always loved art and being able to express myself through artistic endeavors!
Before my move to Cape Cod in 2006, I was a teacher, a corporate executive, a garden and interior designer, as well as entrepreneur. Traveling the world and gardening were my real passions, until I drove down 6a and became entranced by all things Cape.
But the turning point in my life was the painting workshop I attended in Provence. The light there, so similar to the beauty of the light on Cape Cod, is the inspiration for my my latest artistic endeavors. That light is the reason I am so drawn to Plein Air painting....mostly in oil. My work is considered representational impressionistic for which I have won multiple awards.
I am a juried member of the Cape Cod Art Association, the Creative Arts Center, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod and the Yarmouth Art Guild....nationally, a member of the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society. I continue to be an avid gardener and enthusiastic artist, but my favorite job is "Grammy".
