Like so many, Linda looked forward to her annual get away, to the magnificent shores of the cape.
When the ocean's roar and warm winds started to fill her nighttime dreams, she decided it was time to make the
dream a reality. In 2014 she left her residence in Granby Connecticut and made the cape her permanent home.
The inspiring beauty of the cape, combined with a gift of time, provided the perfect opportunity to explore self
expression through studying digital photography. Under the guidance of John Tunney of the Cape Cod Art Center, she fell in love with this form of art immediately. She found digital photography to be much more than learning proper techniques. She found it to be a love story with nature. Photography gave her amazing experiences from patiently waiting for a snowy owl to fly, to listening to the waves pound the beach at nightfall while photographing the milky way.
Linda hopes her images convey the sense of peace and beauty that she feels while creating them. Her images have been shown at Steve Lyons Art Gallery in Chatham and she is a member of the Cape Cod Art Center Camera Club. She enjoys having her art studio in her home where she uses fine art paper to create her own prints.
