As an only child I became an expert in solitude. While spending time exploring forests and gardens and seasides, I connected deeply with the natural world. I believe this fascination for nature, not as it is merely seen, but felt, is the genesis for the impressionist paintings I create today.
As a life-long educator my students and I learned to make mistakes with humor and grace and to know that mistakes often become our most fascinating works. My paintings have an added element of whimsy that is uniquely my own. I work in acrylic and mixed media.
Today, I am represented by the Rachel K. Delong Gallery in Wellfleet, MA and I have been a featured artist at the Truro Vineyard’s Wine and Dine event, the Orleans Artist Cottages, and Artful Annie’s Gallery in Connecticut.
